প্রবাসীরা দেশে আসার আগে সাবধান

একটা চার্জার ফ্যান, কিংবা টেবিল ফ্যান, হাতুড়ি, কি বাংলাদেশে পাওয়া যায় না ? কিংবা একটা চার্জার লাইট কি বাংলাদেশে কম দামে পাওয়া যায় না ? ভালো মানের নেই ?

আপনাকে কেউ বলছে সাথে করে বিদেশে থেকে চার্জার ফ্যান, টেবিল ফ্যান, চার্জার লাইট, হাতুড়ি নিয়ে যেতে। এজন্য আপনাকে টাকাও দিচ্ছে।

কিন্তু আপনার মনে সন্দেহ হচ্ছে না ? আপনাকে যে পরিমান টাকা দিচ্ছে, সেই টাকা দিয়েই তো দেশে ভালো মানের চার্জার ফ্যান, টেবিল ফ্যান, চার্জার লাইট কেনা সম্ভব। তবুও কেন বিদেশ থেকে পাঠাচ্ছে।

মুলত এসব জিনিসের আড়ালেই হয় চোরাচালান। এভাবে অন্যের মালামাল না জেনে বুঝে নিয়ে আপনি হয়ে পড়বেন চোরাচালানকারী। যেহেতু আপনার সঙ্গে থাকবে সেই মালামাল, ফলে আপনাকেই হতে হবে অপরাধী। বাংলা এভিয়শনের পরামর্শ , অল্প কিছু টাকার লোভে পড়ে এসব মালামাল বহন থেকে বিরত থাকুন। 

২০ টি সোনার বার লুকানো ছিলো এই চার্জার ফ্যানের ভেতরে। আর সেই ফ্যানটি নিয়ে বাহরাইন থেকে দেশে আসেন প্রবাসী শফিকুল ইসলাম। মঙ্গলবার রাতে হজরত শাহজালাল আন্তর্জাতিক বিমানবন্দরে সোনার বার চোরাচালানের ঘটনায় তাকে গ্রেফতার করেছে ঢাকা কাস্টম হাউসের প্রিভেন্টিভ টিম। 

 

মঙ্গলবার সন্ধ্যা ৭টার দিকে শাহজালাল বিমানবন্দরে গালফ এয়ারের জিএফ ২৫০ ফ্লাইট অবতরণ করে। সেই ফ্লাইটে বাহরাইন থেকে আসেন প্রবাসী শফিকুল ইসলাম। তার সাথে থাকা লাগেজের ভেতরে ছিলো চার্জার ফ্যান। কাস্টম জোনে স্ক্যানিং করার সময় ফ্যানের ভেতরে সোনার বার সনাক্ত করে কাস্টমস কর্মীরা। পরবর্তীতে সেই চার্জার ফ্যান ভেঙ্গে লুকায়িত ২০ টি স্বর্ণবার পাওয়া যায়। যার আনুমানিক ওজন ২ কেজি ৩০০ গ্রাম। এসব সোনার বারের বাজারমূল্য প্রায় ১ কোটি ৫০ লক্ষ টাকা মাত্র। প্রাথমিক জিঙ্গাসাবাদে, এই প্রবাসীর জানিয়েছেন তাকে পরিচিত এক ব্যক্তি ফ্যানটি দেশে নিয়ে যেতে দিয়েছিলেন। এদিকে স্বর্ণ ও যাত্রীর বিষয়ে ফৌজদারী মামলা করে থানায় হস্তান্তর করা হয়েছে।

 There were 20 gold bars hidden inside this charger fan. And expatriate Shafiqul Islam came to the country from Bahrain with that fan. Preventive team of Dhaka Custom House arrested him on Tuesday night for smuggling gold bar at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.

 Gulf Air's GF250 flight landed at Shahjalal Airport around 6pm on Tuesday. Expatriate Shafiqul Islam came from Bahrain on that flight. Inside his luggage was a charger fan. While scanning in the custom zone, the customs staff detected the gold bar inside the fan. Later, the charger fan was broken and 20 hidden gold bars were found. Its approximate weight is 2 kg 300 g. The market value of these gold bars is only around Rs 15 million. In the initial jingasabad, the expatriate said that an acquaintance let him take the fan to the country. Meanwhile, a criminal case has been filed against the gold and the passenger and handed over to the police station.
